So I’m playing Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn again and in the Tower of Guidance, Ike pretty much says that it’s bigger on the inside and Yune replies that he shouldn’t think too much on that because he might drive himself mad.
And now I’m thinking about it - The Tower of Guidance is basically the TARDIS and Yune’s the Doctor, Ashera is the Master (or Daleks - KILL ALL THE THINGS), and Ike and company are the companions.

Other times we recast TV shows using our favorite fictional characters.
When I mentioned that I quoted Serenity in chapter 18 of The Trophy Wife, I said off hand that Bolin was Wash full stop.
Yuu agreed.
From there I went down the cast list as Masks and I had come up with a few days ago.
Bolin - Wash
Lin - Zoe
Mako - Mal
Asami - Inara
Korra - Kaylee
Tenzin - Book
Of course we hadn’t quite settled on Jayne, Simon, or River yet. The general consensus is that Iroh II would be ideal as Simon - upper class helping others, a hard worker, solemn. Jayne was a toss up between Tarrlok and Amon, but we ultimately decided that Tarrlok was perfect for Jayne. (He’ll be in his bunk.) Coincidentally, we decided that Amon would be perfect for The Operative.
That just leaves River. We’re torn between Jinora and Ikki for the part, mostly because either could fit the part, and the thought of either of them stating “Also, I could kill you with my brain” sends me into a fit of giggles.
So if anyone has any idea who to cast as River, please, enlighten me. And then I’ll see if I can do art. I make no promises, though.
YES. YES. YES. I always pictured Zoe = Lin, Inara = Asami, Kaylee = Korra, Mal = Mako, Wash = Bolin, Book = Tenzin…that’s about as far as I ever got though. :P

Jayne…Jayne would be Tarrlok probably…maybe…I don’t know. Good looking, a competent fighter, questionable allegiance. Simon could be Iroh II, which leaves River. I just don’t know who’s spacy but dangerous enough to be River.
